Volleyball Recap: McEachern Takes a Loss

McEachern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dominion Christian Knights. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in August of 2022.

Dominion Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maddie Rocha led the charge by getting seven aces. Rachel Caldwell was another key player, getting nine digs and four aces.

McEachern's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Dominion Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, McEachern will square off against Pebblebrook at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dominion Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Westminster on the 9th.
