Basketball Recap: Life Way Christian Takes a Loss

Life Way Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 68-43 to the Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Griffins are ranked 74th).

Life Way Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Ozark Catholic Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Life Way Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eureka Springs at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Ozark Catholic Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Decatur at 5:00 p.m. on January 21st.
