Volleyball Recap: Jordyn Garbig Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Tri-Village

Arcanum won the last time they faced Tri-Village and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Arcanum's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordyn Garbig, who had six aces and three digs. Those six aces gave Garbig a new career-high. Grace Fry was another key player, getting 11 assists and three digs.

They weren't the only good server: Arcanum was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Arcanum now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Tri-Village, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Arcanum wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Greenville on the 23rd. As for Tri-Village, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Ansonia on the 23rd.
