Basketball Game Preview: Arundel Wildcats vs. Northeast Eagles

Arundel and Northeast are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Arundel Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Northeast Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Arundel knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully Northeast likes a good challenge.

On Monday, Arundel took their contest with ease, bagging a 78-31 win over Chesapeake Science Point. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with Chesapeake Science Point: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Northeast didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Annapolis on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 78-73 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Arundel, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Arundel came up short against Northeast in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 79-68. Can Arundel avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
