Volleyball Recap: Fulton's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Fulton had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They came out on top against the Byron Tigers by a score of 2-0. The Steamers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Kerby Germann paced Fulton's offense, picking up six kills. Germann got some help from Brianne Brennan and her seven assists. Finally, Jessa Read kept Fulton's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Fulton's win bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Byron, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.

Fulton is on the road again on Saturday to play Jefferson at 10:00 a.m. The Steamers are facing the J-Hawks at the right time seeing as the J-Hawks are stuck on a five-game losing streak. Byron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
