Baseball Recap: Henryetta Comes Up Short

Henryetta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Haskell Haymakers. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Haymakers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2019.

Henryetta saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Boston Morris, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Mavrix Randleman was another, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Henryetta's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Haskell, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Henryetta didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-6 win against Weleetka on the 28th. As for Haskell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-6 loss against Beggs on the 26th.
