Havelock had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs by a score of 66-57. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 64-63 win the Monarchs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Northside - Jacksonville's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Joaliel Caraballo, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 15 points along with six rebounds and six steals, and Peyton Mayhew, who went 8 for 13 en route to 19 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave Mayhew a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jamir Mitchell, who posted six points and eight rebounds.

Havelock pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Northside - Jacksonville, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
