Basketball Game Preview: Pendleton Buckaroos vs. Kendrick Tigers

The Pendleton Buckaroos and the Kendrick Tigers will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Pendleton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 75-63 to Colfax on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Buckaroos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 112th in Oregon, while the Bulldogs are ranked 11th in Washington).

Meanwhile, Kendrick was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 47-46 to Clarkston.

This is the second loss in a row for Pendleton and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Kendrick, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Pendleton didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Kendrick in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 40-34 win. Will Pendleton repeat their success, or does Kendrick have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
