Jasper posted their biggest victory since December 13, 2024 on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 54-30 margin over the Carbon Hill Bulldogs. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 301st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jasper's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Carbon Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Jasper won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cullman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jasper is facing Cullman at the right time seeing as Cullman is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Carbon Hill, they will face off against Dora at 5:30 p.m. on January 27th. Dora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.
