Volleyball Recap: Veterans Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Win

Veterans came tearing into Saturday's game with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Northside Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warhawks also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Veterans was: they took both sets by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-4.

Among those leading the charge was Grace Lamontagne, who had seven assists and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2024.

Lamontagne wasn't the only good server: Veterans was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in ten consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Veterans' win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Northside, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Veterans will head out on the road to face off against Perry at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Northside will be paying especially close attention to the Warhawks' match: after the Warhawks face off against the Panthers, they'll take on Northside again at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
