Baseball Recap: Reeves Takes a Loss

Reeves lost against Midland back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Raiders fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 3-2. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reeves' defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Midland, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Reeves will challenge Singer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Midland, they will square off against Abbeville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Rebels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
