Basketball Recap: Sam Sebahar's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hillcrest over Highland

Hillcrest made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Highland, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Huskies fell just short of the Rams by a score of 36-34 on Friday. The defeat leaves the Huskies still looking for their first win of the season.

Hillcrest lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sam Sebahar, who posted nine points and six rebounds. She also posted a block, marking her first of the season. Abbi Clark was another key player, putting up six points.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Highland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Hillcrest is taking a road trip to take on Hurricane at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cottonwood at 7:00 p.m. This will be the Rams' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
