Recap: Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs vs. Otis Bulldogs
The Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs's game on Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They took down Otis 47-33. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Haxtun also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Emily Anderson was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 13 points along with six steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayleigh Bullard, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
Haxtun's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Otis, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Haxtun will stay at home for another game and welcome Holyoke at 4:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Otis, they will head out on the road to take on Caliche at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Caliche is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
