Haskell never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by  an  11-0 margin over the Mounds Golden Eagles. The Haymakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by eight  runs or more this season.
Haskell got a  massive  performance out of  Jaxon Drain, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Drain is becoming a predictor of Haskell's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 1-5 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was  Elias Gonzales, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Haskell  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mounds only posted  an  OBP of  .375.
The  victory  got Haskell back to even at 5-5. As for Mounds, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Coming up, Haskell will venture away from home to  square off against Warner  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Mounds, they will host Hulbert  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
