Basketball Recap: North Star Gets the Win

North Star won the last time they faced Box Elder and things went their way on Saturday too. The North Star Knights came out on top against the Box Elder Bears by a score of 49-42.

Box Elder's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kise Seaton, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Martay Stiffarm-Rosette, who scored 13 points.

North Star's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Box Elder, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Star has already played their next game (against Fort Benton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Box Elder will challenge Hays-Lodge Pole at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
