Quartz Hill is 7-2 against Lancaster since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Royals will take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Quartz Hill sitting on five straight victories and Lancaster on eight.

On Tuesday, Quartz Hill got the win against Palmdale by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Lancaster was able to grind out a solid win over Eastside on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-17, 13-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Lancaster's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-15. As for Quartz Hill, their win bumped their record up to 15-6-1.

Quartz Hill was able to grind out a solid victory over Lancaster in their previous meeting back in March, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
