Baseball Game Preview: Brookland-Cayce Bearcats vs. Gilbert Indians

For the second straight game, Brookland-Cayce will face off against Gilbert. The Bearcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Brookland-Cayce's offense. They fell 5-0 to Gilbert on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Brookland-Cayce saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Donadio, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Gilbert's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Brookland-Cayce, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
