Harmony Science Academy posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They breezed by Irvin on the road to the tune of 41-14. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Harmony Science Academy had established a 24 point advantage.
Miranda Urquidi-Sauceda was the offensive standout of the game as she dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Harmony Science Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Irvin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
Harmony Science Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 21. As for Irvin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bowie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bowie and Irvin are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
