South Salem extended their postseason success on Friday against South Eugene. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Axe. The win was familiar territory for the Saxons, who have now won ten matchups in a row.

Briella Mathis paced South Salem's offense, picking up 15 kills. Mathis got some help from Kamree Orizotti and her 40 assists. Addison Herber controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

South Salem's victory bumped their record up to 31-7-1. As for South Eugene, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-4.

South Salem didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Jesuit on the 7th. As for South Eugene, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Oregon City on the 8th.
