Volleyball Recap: Oelwein Takes a Loss

Oelwein lost against Gladbrook-Reinbeck back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Huskies took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Oelwein has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Gladbrook-Reinbeck, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Oelwein didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Greene County on the 13th. As for Gladbrook-Reinbeck, they will square off against South Hardin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
