            Baseball Recap: Iroquois West Raiders vs. Beecher Bobcats        
        
		
        
        
            Iroquois West's game  on Tuesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Beecher Bobcats as they made off with  a  9-2 win. With that  victory, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 6.2  runs per game.

  Rylan Pheifer was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. Those  two  doubles gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mario Andrade, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs.
Iroquois West's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Beecher, their loss dropped their record down to 12-16.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Iroquois West will square off against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Beecher, they will take on Crossroads Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The CRU have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.41  runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
