Basketball Recap: Bon Homme Takes a Loss

Bon Homme won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 65-31 loss at the hands of the Parkston Trojans. The loss continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost six in a row.

Bon Homme's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Parkston, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Bon Homme will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kimball/White Lake at 6:30 p.m. Bon Homme is facing Kimball/White Lake at the right time seeing as Kimball/White Lake is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Parkston, they will face off against St. Mary at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Mary knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Parkston likes a good challenge.
