Volleyball Recap: Dixie Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Dixie won the last time they faced Madison and things went their way on Monday too. The Greyhounds put the hurt on the Mohawks with a sharp 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Greyhounds sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Dixie took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-11.

Dixie got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacie Hartmier out in front who had 11 digs. Hartmier has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Dixie was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in ten consecutive matches.

Dixie now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Madison, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Dixie has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against National Trail on the 30th. As for Madison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Eaton on the 30th.
