Tunstall is 8-2 against Magna Vista since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Tunstall Trojans will challenge the Magna Vista Warriors at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Tunstall's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.

On Wednesday, Tunstall came up short against Hargrave Military Academy and fell 77-69. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Tigers are ranked 114th).

Meanwhile, Magna Vista also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to McMichael by a score of 55-42. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Phoenix recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Tunstall has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Magna Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Tunstall came out on top in a nail-biter against Magna Vista when the teams last played on January 8th, sneaking past 56-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tunstall since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
