Soccer Game Preview: Walsingham Academy vs. Covenant Classical Community

The Walsingham Academy Trojans will head out to square off against the Covenant Classical Community Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Walsingham Academy came up short against Catholic on Tuesday, falling 5-1. The defeat continues a trend for Walsingham Academy in their meetings with Catholic: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Covenant Classical Community came up short against Grove Christian School on Monday and fell 3-1.

Covenant Classical Community's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-3. As for Walsingham Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

Walsingham Academy got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Covenant Classical Community by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
