Nash Central will head out to square off against Princeton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Nash Central has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Nash Central's last matchup with Northern Nash could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Knights, falling 18-10.

RAYLEIGH SUMMERLIN and HALEY FRAZIER did some serious damage despite the final result: SUMMERLIN scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while FRAZIER scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. SUMMERLIN has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of BRYLEIGH POSEY, who scored a run and stole a base.
Meanwhile, Princeton gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on Spring Creek with a sharp 10-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Mary Rachel Uzzell was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Uzzell was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Madison Mitchell was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Kaylee Mitchell was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base.
Princeton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are 7-3 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The victory made it two in a row for Princeton and bumps their season record up to 8-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Nash Central, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Nash Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .366. However, it's not like Princeton struggles in that department as they've averaged .396. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Nash Central took their victory against Princeton in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 13-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nash Central since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
