Baseball Game Preview: Ansonia Chargers vs. Seymour Wildcats

Ansonia is 2-8 against Seymour since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Chargers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Ansonia 4.1, Seymour 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

If Ansonia beats Seymour with six runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Chargers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Torrington 6-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.
