League recap: Sub-par week lands Middlesex outside of New Jersey's top 25

Greater Middlesex - Blue league recap: 5/29/12

With a rough week, Middlesex dropped out of the state's top 25 rankings. Middlesex fell from No. 15 to No. 36 after going 1-1 over the past week. The Bluejays are ranked No. 1602 in the nation, and have an overall record of 24-3.

Michael Hronich was on fire this week, as he led Greater Middlesex - Blue with a .300 average with six RBIs. Meanwhile, Metuchen put together a 2-3 week.

New Brunswick's pitchers were the toughest in the league on opposing hitters this week, giving up only seven hits. On the year, the Zebras have allowed only seven hits.

Anthony Feltre led the league with nine hits this week for the Bulldogs. On the season, he's hitting .379 and ranks tenth in the league with 22 hits.
