Softball Recap: Waldron Bulldogs vs. Cossatot River Eagles

Waldron lost to Cossatot River back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Avery Self spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up 14 Ks.

At the plate, Waldron let Payton Mahar and Chloe Richmond run wild. Mahar scored a run while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances, while Richmond scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Karis Pritchard also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
