Basketball Recap: Robeson Business Tech Comes Up Short

Robeson Business Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brooklyn Technical Engineers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Engineers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Robeson Business Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brooklyn Technical, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Robeson Business Tech will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Transit Tech at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Brooklyn Technical will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Van Arsdale at 4:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
