Paris is 0-10 against Montgomery County since April of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Greyhounds will host the Indians at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Paris' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over Augusta. Considering the Greyhounds have won ten matches by more than ten runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Kendell Baldwin was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four stolen bases, and two runs. What's more, she posted two hits, the most she's had since back in March.

Ryleigh Martin made a splash while hitting and pitching. The victory made it two in a row for Paris and bumps their season record up to 13-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Montgomery County, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Paris has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .484. However, it's not like Montgomery County struggles in that department as they've averaged .433. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
