Baseball Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

Riverdale came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-3 to the Westby Norsemen. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 4, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Bevyn Dennis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three runs and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Westby, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Riverdale will face off against Boscobel at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Westby, they will head out to challenge Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
