Dexter has gone 8-2 against Monroe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. Monroe took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Dexter, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Dexter earned a 42-32 win over Milford. The matchup marked the Dreadnaughts' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against Huron, falling 82-39. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while the River Rats are ranked fourth).

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Dexter, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
