Lockland's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 2-9. As for New Miami, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Lockland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-38 win against Jefferson Township on the 17th. New Miami has also already played their next contest, a 56-18 loss against Cincinnati Country Day on the 17th.
