Basketball Recap: Becton Gets the Win

If Wallington wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Becton, they should've done a better job of containing Danny Wallner. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 72-43 win over the Panthers with plenty of help from Wallner, who shot 63% from the field en route to 23 points along with six assists and six boards. His big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Selim Elhetawy, who posted 11 points and three steals. He has become a key player for Becton: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 7-9 otherwise.

Becton's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Wallington, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Becton will welcome Harrison at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wallington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lodi at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
