Football Recap: Ogden's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ogden had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 24-7 win over the Clearfield Falcons. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Tigers were the (much) better team in the second half.

Blake Weston threw for 89 yards on nine of 16 attempts. Jack Thompson was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards. On the ground, Keen Crowther rushed for 60 yards.

Ogden's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Clearfield, they dropped their record down to 2-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Ogden will square off against Preston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clearfield, they will challenge Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
