Volleyball Recap: Comfort Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bandera on Tuesday, Comfort came back down to earth. The Bobcats/Deer fell 2-0 to the Goliad Tigers on Thursday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Bobcats/Deer were not able to get on the board.

Tindall Ahrens paced Comfort's offense, picking up four kills. Ahrens got some help from Corrine Brown and her six assists.

Comfort's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Goliad, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Comfort didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Medina Valley on the 21st. As for Goliad, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against East Central on the 21st.
