Volleyball Recap: St. Charles Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times St. Charles and Rushford-Peterson had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Fighting Saints came up short against the Trojans on Monday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Fighting Saints in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20, 25-15.

St. Charles' defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Rushford-Peterson, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. Charles will face off against rival La Crescent at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rushford-Peterson is set to take on their familiar foe Chatfield at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
