Softball Recap: Lyndon Comes Up Short

Lyndon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mission Valley Vikings, falling 16-3. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 11-3 to the Vikings when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bella Hobbs made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Lyndon's record now sits at 0-3. As for Mission Valley, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Vikings beat Lyndon by a score of 18-2 later that day.
