Newell-Fonda has gone 8-2 against East Sac County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mustangs will welcome the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Newell-Fonda's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so East Sac County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Newell-Fonda didn't have quite enough to beat Pocahontas and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, East Sac County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Ogden.

Newell-Fonda's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7-1. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.8 runs. As for East Sac County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
