Lansingburgh had already won four in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They blew past the Berlin/New Lebanon Mountain Lions 8-0.
Not much got past  Guiliana Patregnani, who gave up just  a  hit and racked up 16 Ks to keep Berlin/New Lebanon off the board.
 On the hitting side,  Taylor Moran and  Victoria Brown did most of the damage at the plate:  Moran  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances, while  Brown  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Those  three  stolen bases gave  Moran a new career-high.  Anna Patregnani was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
Lansingburgh's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lansingburgh will venture away from home to  square off against Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Berlin/New Lebanon, they will take on the Knights at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
