Volleyball Recap: Ida B. Wells' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Ida B. Wells came into Saturday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Century Jaguars by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on September 4th.

Ida B. Wells' victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Century, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Ida B. Wells wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Hillsboro on the 20th. As for Century, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Forest Grove on the 22nd.
