Baseball Game Preview: Hamilton Lions vs. New Site Royals

For the second straight game, Hamilton will face off against New Site. The Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hamilton is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since February 21st on Tuesday. They fell just short of New Site by a score of 4-2.

For New Site's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Greene, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Case Clark was another, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

New Site is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for Hamilton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.
