Recap: Buckhorn Wildcats vs. Wolfe County Wolves
The Buckhorn Wildcats had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 94-85 to Wolfe County on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Corey Flinchum had an outrageously good game for Wolfe County as he shot 7-for-9 from deep and dropped a double-double on 27 points and 10 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Oliver, who scored 19 points along with 7 assists.
Buckhorn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Wolfe County, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckhorn will take on Letcher County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wolfe County, they will be playing at home against Magoffin County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
