Basketball Recap: Darian Keefe and Jared Mitchell Secure Win for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe lost to Coahulla Creek back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors enjoyed a cozy 64-49 win over the Coahulla Creek Colts.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe was led to victory by Jared Mitchell and Darian Keefe. Mitchell dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards, while Keefe posted 19 points and three steals. What's more, Keefe also posted a 57% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. AJ Hendrix was another key player, putting up ten points and eight rebounds.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.6 points over those games. As for Coahulla Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-13.
