Sierra relied on the efforts of Marisa Reyes, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine steals, and Deja Burns, who posted five points along with 11 blocks, eight steals, and seven boards. Burns is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Zuleyka Garcia was another key player, putting up two points.

Meanwhile, everything went Widefield's way against Harrison on Thursday as Widefield made off with a 52-32 victory.

Widefield's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.2 points over those games. As for Sierra, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
