Basketball Recap: Greenfield Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Greenfield can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 69-68 to the Wayne Country Day Chargers. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 88-50.

Greenfield's defeat dropped their record down to 27-8. As for Wayne Country Day, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 28-7.

Greenfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wayne Country Day, they will face off against Caldwell Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne Country Day has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 215 points over their last three games.
