Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ponderosa). They came out on top against the Silver Creek Raptors by a score of 47-36 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Several Raptors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Avery White, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. White has been hot, having posted 11 or more boards the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Madelyn Mallett, who posted 11 points.

The win got Ponderosa back to even at 2-2. As for Silver Creek, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Ponderosa has already played their next game, a 49-37 defeat against Loveland on the 9th. As for Silver Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-49 loss against Lewis-Palmer on the 9th.
