Drew hasn't had much luck against The Bay School recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Dragons are taking a road trip to take on the Breakers at 3:30 p.m. Drew is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Drew came up short against Athenian on Tuesday, falling 10-4.

Drew saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Ebrado, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. The Dragons are 4-1 when Ebrado posts two or more stolen bases, but 4-8 otherwise.
Meanwhile, The Bay School had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. Everything went their way against the Gators as they made off with a 15-3 victory. The Breakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by eight runs or more this season.
Nate Won made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Jasper Cook was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2025. Terje Steele was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
The Bay School kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
The Bay School's record now sits at 15-3. As for Drew, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Drew has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like The Bay School struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Drew might still be hurting after the 16-0 defeat they got from The Bay School when the teams last played back in March. Can the Dragons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
