Basketball Recap: Superior Drops Highest Score of Season Against Troy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Superior). They blew past the Troy Trojans, posting a 70-36 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won four in a row.

Superior's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Troy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bobcats duke it out with the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Troy, they will venture away from home to square off against St. Ignatius at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Ignatius will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Troy surely won't give up without a fight.
